There is plenty to do. Every possible club sport is available. Notable English specialities are football, golf, fishing, tennis, rugby, cricket, hiking, rock climbing, sailing, car, motorcycle and horse racing. In the South West there's excellent surfing coupled with a mild climate. Sailing is popular all round the coast and on The River Thames and other rivers there are excellent rowing clubs. Browse through old antique and book shops or you could simply settle yourself in one of England’s beautiful parks, where many sport activities take place and watch everyone else getting out of breath.
